Nashville, TN – May 16, 2013 - Inspirational comedian Nazareth releases his second book project, “You’re So Funny Daddy!” just in time for Father’s Day. The book, available June 1 through Comedy Crusade Publishing in association with DerDiZ Media, Inc., encourages fathers to incorporate humor into their daily interactions at home, making for a light-hearted atmosphere which will in turn foster better communication and strengthen family relationships long-term.

“You’re So Funny Daddy!” exhorts readers to use humor to be more than just a father but a great dad as well. Nazareth explains, “A father who can tap into humor and share a real hearty laugh with his children is communicating with his children at a frequency level that tunes directly into the heart of what truly matters to [them]… If you’re a father, or you plan to be a father, and you want to be the type of father that your children will think of as a dad, this book is for you.”

The book provides practical tools for improving parental communication through humor, including ideas to make children laugh more frequently and ways to enhance one’s own sense of humor.

“You’re So Funny Daddy!” has already received rave endorsements from Christian leaders such as Dr. Johnny M. Hunt, president of the Southern Baptist Convention, who comments, “It is an awesome read, one that will deeply touch you, challenge you, and equip you to be a dad.” Chuck Booher, senior pastor of Crossroads Christian Church in Corona, Calif., who penned the book’s forward writes, “If we follow the principles of this book we will be those who make memories that will always be cherished and never forgotten.”

Purchase “You’re So Funny Daddy!“for $15.99 at Amazon, www.YoureSoFunnyDaddy.com or www.NazarethUSA.com.
About Nazareth:

Born in Israel, Nazareth moved to the US nearly 30 years ago, during which time he has honed his unique brand of inspirational comedy, reaching millions via live and televised performances. Nazareth has appeared on both network and cable television, including Comedy Central, ABC Family as well as “NBC Nightly News,” while also logging more than 3500 live shows. He has toured with the likes of legendary artists B.B. King, The Righteous Brothers and The Temptations, to name a few, at renowned venues such as the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville, Tenn., among others. As the New York Times aptly described one of his shows, he “had the audience convulsing.”

On a personal front, Nazareth has participated in ministries ranging from Prison Fellowship with Chuck Colson to Youth for Christ and The Salvation Army. He speaks internationally at conferences, camps, churches and prisons and is co-founder/president of Comedy Crusade, a program that provides Christian leaders with professional Christian comedians. Nazareth also previously served as president of the Christian Comedy Association, a group exceeding 300 members – including Christian comedienne Chonda Pierce and television personality Sherri Shepherd.

Nazareth and his wife of sixteen years reside with their three young children in Southern California. Grammy® Award winner and 17-time GMA DOVE Award winner Jason Crabb is one of the most highly respected, versatile and talented artists to ever grace a stage. His soulful, heartfelt vocals have made him a critics’ pick and a fan favorite on stages ranging from “The Grand Ole Opry” and the Brooklyn Tabernacle to the Gaither Homecoming arena platforms. In 2012, Crabb was honored to be awarded with not only the Artist of the Year Award at the GMA DOVE Awards but also the Male Vocalist of the Year Award. With a string of number one hits and chart-topping singles, a tour schedule of over 150 dates annually, and ongoing high-profile TV appearances, this vocal powerhouse’s talent is topped only by his genuine personality and concern for others. Love Is Stronger, Jason’s latest release, was produced by Jay DeMarcus, Ed Cash and Wayne Haun. The project hit a home run with critics and was featured on Entertainment Tonight, Fox News, Associated Press, AOL Music, and many other national outlets. Jason is currently performing on his “Love Is Stronger” tour throughout the country. Jason lives with his wife Shellye, and daughters Emma and Ashleigh just outside of Nashville, TN.

It’s been a few months since I last wrote, but things have been far from uneventful. Will’s still growing and changing pretty much daily and the things that he says make us laugh all the time. It’s intriguing to note how much we often have to ‘roll with the punches,’ so to speak, and adapt to his changing. Just last night when the three of us were out to eat, he threw a tantrum at our booth in a restaurant and we still are not quite sure what it was about. But once he got his meal and started chowing down, all seemed right with the universe.

But he’s definitely more of a parrot at times now. He’ll surprise us by mimicking (or MOCKING!) things we say. Will is 2 and a half years old now and we’re definitely seeing the development of his personality speeding up. He’s showing signs of imagining when he plays with his trains and other toys – we’ve even caught him sort of joking around. It’s amazing to me.

It’s also funny how one day he’ll be all about one thing and the next day, he’ll be all about another. But lately, one thing he’s consistently obsessed with is – the moon, of all things. There’s a Mickey Mouse Clubhouse episode where they all go into space and it’s really piqued his interest in planets and rockets. It’s kind of funny. [I can’t help but assume he’s going to LOVE Star Wars).

Another thing he’s been doing lately is coming into my office upstairs while Amy is at work and often announcing “Mickey Mickey Mickey!” which means he wants to watch a cartoon with me on my computer. So I’ll prop the little guy on my knee and put a Mickey Mouse cartoon in one pop-up window of iTunes while I work behind it. Today, he asked for Cars while he ate lunch (mini waffles). But before he started eating, he snuggled in with his head against me while watching the movie and I tried to soak it up. It won’t be long before moments like these will be a distant memory…

(NASHVILLE, Tenn.) April 10, 2013—North Point Music introduces its first ever album created for children’s ministry, North Point Kids: Shine!, this week. This new, upbeat project, which debuted at No. 4 on iTunes Children’s Music chart, targets elementary-aged kids through songs that have clear messages, easy-to-remember lyrics, and motions that will get them moving.

Every weekend, North Point Ministries leads more than 4,000 children throughout the Atlanta area to worship God. North Point kids learn that the Bible should never be boring, that worship can be really loud, and that the best leaders always care.
“Kids are very hungry and open to know more about God,” says North Point Ministries Children’s Director Kendra Fleming. “We don’t have to teach kids to worship because it’s the natural outflow of their hearts. We just have to give them something to participate in, a way to engage. Music is a primary teaching venue for them. Using language they use, it brings emotion, joy, and excitement … whatever the music is trying to communicate, it resonates with them. They are drawn to it, and the message it sends is so powerful, it stays with them.”
Shine! is a collection of powerful, encouraging songs that sound as current as anything One Direction, Taylor Swift, or Justin Bieber has to offer but that lyrically reveal God as trustworthy, powerful and always present in their lives.
From album openers “Your Love for Me” and “Tell the World,” which boldly proclaim God’s love for us, to “Look at Our God,” an anthem about His power, to the title track’s danceable declaration of faith, Shine! never loses its energy or fails to empower kids with the truth of who God is.

Well-known worship leaders, such as Casey Darnell, Eddie Kirkland, and Dove Award-winner Seth Condrey, are featured on the album, along with other artists. Darnell comments, “To this day, I still remember the songs I grew up hearing in our home or in the car. Those were the early seeds of truth God sewed into my heart that would have a lasting impact and one day grow into a desire to know Him more and trust Him with my whole life. I’m grateful for those days and the music of my childhood, and I’m honored to be passing this legacy on to my children today!”

SOURCE: Rogers & Cowan

Nashville, Tenn. (March 14, 2013) – Author, pastor, and global speaker Dave Stone is gearing up for his third release in the FAITHFUL FAMILIES series. Slated to hit stores nationwide on April 9, 2013 through Thomas Nelson, How to Raise Selfless Kids in a Self-Centered World is an innovative collection of creative ideas, real-life stories, and scriptural guidance about how to be a family that puts others first.

With two previous titles released under the popular FAITHFUL FAMILIES brand (Raising Your Kids to Love the Lord and Building Family Ties with Faith, Love and Laughter), this third installment offers readers some of the same insight and wisdom that Dave is best-known for.

Through sharing stories from his own home life and the homes of the families he’s counseled in his role as pastor, Dave’s heart and passion for building strong families rings louder than ever in this new release.

“The most practical way to spread the gospel is through moms and dads who model genuine faith for their children,” says Dave. How to Raise Selfless Kids in a Self-Centered World provides tools, insights, and dialogues that will help support those goals.

Featuring a practical, conversational and humorous approach to the challenges of building a strong spiritual foundation for the family, the latest book also equips parents with the tools they need to raise kids whose focus is not always on themselves and who think of others first in the midst of a self-absorbed culture.

“Our culture is draining the life out of our families,” admits Dave. “In a world of electronic devices and hectic schedules families are suffering. Delight has been deleted and joy and fulfillment have been replaced by worry and hurt. I want parents to know that God is more concerned with our direction, not our perfection.”

How to Raise Selfless Kids in a Self-Centered World provides honest insight on how to parent intentionally as Dave hits issues head-on and helps parents overcome struggles and obstacles along the way. Some key topics include: Becoming Others Focused, Service, Generosity, Forgiveness, and much more.

Nashville, TN - To celebrate their 20th anniversary, the Cedarmont Kids® record label is releasing two special collections of their award-winning children’s music.

“As we approached this significant anniversary for the label, we noticed that our original releases were still selling well after two decades,” said Mike Gay, President of Cedarmont. “In fact, all six titles have been certified Gold or Platinum, and just last year, the project Action Bible Songs was the number one non-seasonal children’s project in Christian bookstores. To celebrate, we came up with a way to sell all six of those CDs together at a deeply-discounted retail price of $20 to commemorate our 20 years of making wonderful music for kids.”

The 20th Anniversary Collection includes 96 songs on six CDs, along with a commemorative sixteen-page booklet that includes information about the history of the Cedarmont series, plus lyrics for all the songs. The six CDs include split-track versions of every song so that kids can sing along, karaoke-style. The collection is housed in a SpindlePak design that secures the CDs on an internal spindle. In addition to the six CDs, the collection includes a bonus one-hour DVD of 22 songs from the Cedarmont library.

Cedarmont Kids is also releasing the Gospel Sunday School Collection which includes three albums featuring 48 Sunday School songs and classic spirituals. The collection includes the brand-new CD Gospel Sunday School Songs which features the iconic song from Martin Luther King’s speech, “Free At Last,” marking the first time the song has been recorded on a children’s project. The Gospel Sunday School Collection also includes split tracks for sing-a-longs and retails for only $9.99.

Since its founding 20 years ago, Cedarmont Kids has sold over 21 million albums and built a broad customer base by focusing on well-known classic songs and selling their products at affordable prices. Their diversified catalog now features 46 CDs on five labels: Cedamont Kids® Classics, Cedarmont Kids Gospel®, Cedarmont Niños®, Cedarmont Baby®, and Cedarmont Worship for Kids®. Fifteen of these titles were Spanish releases. They have also developed a series of eleven DVDs, which are live-action, sing-along versions of the audio recordings. Owners Mike and Sue Gay believe that staying consistent has helped the brand to grow over the past two decades.

“I think we’ve stayed very close to our original goal of providing high quality music and entertainment products with a Christian message at a budget price,” says Mike. “The technology has changed and we’ve added several styles of music, but our message and values are the same.”

Sue concurs, “From the beginning, I wanted our music to be free of affectation. I wanted the children to use their voices correctly, but freely and wholeheartedly. I wanted our arrangements to be long-lasting, if not timeless. Most of all, I wanted every release to present a positive message, because God loves each of His children. I still want these same things. Cedarmont’s by-line, ‘Music With A Message They Won’t Outgrow,’ says it well. I hope these songs become etched on the hearts of all who hear.”

Retailers can benefit from an accompanying floor display, designed especially for these anniversary collections.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
JERUSALEM, Israel (February 25, 2013) Assaf Haroef Medical Center (www.healthtoisrael.org) , a top Israeli Medical Center located about 15 km from Tel Aviv and Living Bread Church International (www.livingbreadchurch,com), based in Jerusalem have announced the formation of a new joint project called “Rescue the Child.” “Rescue the Child” will provide much needed medical care for babies and children from the West Bank and Gaza badly in need of care due to lack of diagnosis, in need of specialized medicine or lack of local access to treatment. This groundbreaking venture reaches out in compassion and love to the children of whom many deem the enemies of Israel.

Aharon Cholow, the Director of International Resources from the Friends of Assaf Haroeth and Karen Dunham, Director of Living Bread have teamed up to spearhead the groundbreaking project. This initiative has already cleared border and governmental holds from both sides and has the coordination of patients moving out of the Gaza Strip for much needed medical treatment.

“It is such a move of God to reach out in love and compassion to these children, who were dying and had such little hope. Isn’t it like God to team up a Christian organization and a Jewish hospital to show love to the enemies of Israel during this time? That’s what Jesus did, reached out to the least of these. There are no borders that the Lord cannot move.” stated Karen Dunham.

Dunham is widely recognized for acts of compassion, ministering the Gospel in refugee camps throughout Israel. She has been called a “Mother Theresa in Israel” by news sources, and her organization has obtained a political status for its work. There are also Jewish orphans being housed and cared for by the team at Living Bread International Church. . She has recently released an inspiring book on her remarkable life called, Pushing the Pillars.

Aharon Cholow has long worked with both Christians and Jews to raise awareness and support for Assaf Haroef Medical Center, which is a teaching hospital with a global reach, and is associated with the Tel Aviv University Sackler Faculty of Medicne. Assaf Hareth stretches over 65 acres, employs over 3,000 staff and has the largest academic Nursing School in Israel. The hospital takes its name from Assaf Haroef, “Assaf the Doctor, who wrote the 1.500 year old oath for Jewish Doctors, which includes the hospital’s motto: “And ye shall not harden your hearts against the poor and the needy, but heal them.”

“I believe that as an Israeli citizen we always have a right to defend ourselves from any aggression, However, we will always stretch out our hand for peace and show compassion to the suffering of children.” Cholow commented.

Karen Dunham and Aharon Cholow are currently in the US, raising awareness for “Rescue the Child” through media interviews, telethons, fund raising events, and various meetings. They will be attending the National Religious Broadcaster’s Convention in Nashville, Tenn. from March 2-6, 2013. HELPS PARENTS TEACH THE BIBLE

BURBANK, Calif.—Today’s highly anticipated release of God’s Truth, Volume 4 of Whitestone Media’s popular Theo animated series, brings with it powerful new teaching tools that help parents convey the truths of faith and the importance of prayer to their children.

Who is Theo? He’s a kindly English pastor full of wise words that communicate—and simplify—the often difficult messages of the Bible for young minds. Assisting Theo are two mischievous mice, Luther and Belfry, who also provide comic relief. The animation, writing, direction, music and overall entertainment value set a new standard for presenting biblical Truth to children and families.

Previous DVDs in the series have featured such episodes as “Redemption,” “Saving Faith” and “Loving Obedience.” Volume 4, God’s Truth, contains three new episodes: “Abiding in Christ” teaches that abiding in Christ is a lot like imitating Him; “Light Unto My Path” teaches that the world is spiritually dark, and without a light we’d trip over spiritual obstacles and wouldn’t know which way to walk; and “What is the Church?” teaches that the Church is inclusive of people from all nations, races, and ethnicities and is the Body of believers worshipping God and sharing the love of Christ together.

God’s Truth also breaks fresh ground in the series by including the newly minted Home Edition. While the animated lessons entertain and educate children about God’s Word, the Home Edition includes a Parent’s Guide designed to promote quality family devotional time together.

After viewing the video, the Parent’s Guide helps parents introduce questions to stimulate discussion with their children concerning the topics they’ve just watched. There are also fun family activities, suggested Scripture readings, and a closing prayer to finish the Bible study. Nightly devotionals are included to help underscore the lessons of each episode, making them fun to learn and easy to remember.

“A family’s involvement in Bible study is key for a child’s spiritual development,” says creator Mike Joens, “and Theo: God’s Truth Home Edition caters to this very purpose. I truly hope it will help parents and instructors teach children the many wonders found in God’s Word, so that they may better know the awesome God we serve.”

A Whitestone Media release, Theo: God’s Truth Home Edition retails for $14.99. Distributed by EMI CMG Distribution, the DVD is available online and at leading Christian retailers nationwide.
